Mere sajno ral mil aao rab di mahima ga layiye; Satgur ton rab karke chete is te dhyan jama layiye. Gale sarhe na pani dobe dat anokhi pa layiye; Satgur ton rab karke chete aawan jaan muka layiye. Man apne di jot jaga ke man vich yaad vasa layiye; Satgur ton rab karke chete ghar vich ghar bana layiye. Avtar guru di charnin dhah ke athsath teerath naha layiye; Jis lai milya eh tan chola oho kamm muka layiye. |

O’my friends, let us all sing together the glory of God; Let us know God from the True Master and concentrate on Him fully. Let us obtain this unique gift which does not rot or decay, and cannot be socked by water; Let us know God from the True Master and transcend the cycle of births and deaths. Let us enlighten our minds with divine light and remember God all the time; Let us know God from the True Master and make a dwelling in this divine abode. Avtar says, let us bow at the feet of the True Master and thus bathe at the sixty-eight places of pilgrimage; Let us accomplish the task, for which we got this human birth. |
Meaning
My friends let us come together and sing praises of the Lord. Let us envision the Almighty from the True Master and stay focused only in this Divine Name. The True Master has blessed us with the knowledge of the Formless, that doesn’t decay, drown or burn. Through envisioning the formless soul, we are liberated from the cycle of birth and death. Through enlightenment we are able to awaken our minds with the remembrance of this Formless One. Through envisioning the Formless God from the Lord Master, let us make an abode of this very God in our heart. Avtar says, let us surrender ourselves at the holy feet of the True Master, and be bestowed with the grace of many a pilgrimage; also realizing the purpose of having taken this birth as a human.
